It bears the Royal Warrant- Nemo Me Impune Lacessit which was the Latin motto of the Royal Stuart dynasty of Scotland. It was also adopted by three Scottish regiments in the British Army, its meaning is: No one attacks me with impunity. In excellent condition. A superb 19th century antique tea tin.
