Small Welsh Elm Box Chest, Circa 1780

Description

Small Welsh box in nicely-figured elm, raised on low bracket feet, and with a wonderful colour and surface patination. The lid is sun-bleached in parts. The interior contains a small compartment and the lid has its original wrought iron hinges.
