A Lovely Octagon shape single lid tea caddy made from shark skin, shagreen. In great condition piece with an unusual design making it quite a unique item. Around the lid it has been brass bounded to add to the durability. Comes with applied copper trophies of war surmount, opening to reveal a lidded compartment Dates to the Victorian period, c.1890.
