Victorian Painting Box C.1860

Description

A suburb Painting box. All completely fitted with the painting materials. Original Water colour paints with various paint brushes and materials. A porcelain mixing palette. Comes with a glass stand used for wet paint brushes.

The front consists of a draw opened by the brass handle which adds to the storage space. The main exterior wood is mahogany and comes with fully functioning lock and key. The maker of the box is Thomas Miller and co. and dates to c.1860. Built and made in convert garden London.
