Birds Eye Maple Glove Box C.1880

Description

An attractive Glove box. Made from a mixture of woods. The main exterior wood is birds eye maple also with amboyna kingwood and rosewood. It's been inlaid and brass bounded to add to the decoration. It's French made.

The interior is made from a satinwood and comprises of a drop front. Dates back to the Victorian period c.1880.

Brass, Birds eye maple, amboyna, kingwood, rosewood and satinwood.
