Burr Walnut Table Box C.1870

Description

A fine example of a Tunbridge ware desk box. In absolutely great condition through out. Made from Burr walnut which produces an attractive grain. The side are made from a figured walnut. The tunbridge ware inlay is all original and intact.

It has a side draw bottom right which is spring loaded by the brass pin inside. The interior has been lined in green paper and the interior lid is lined with green velvet. Comes with fully functioning lock and key and dates back to the Victorian period.
