A lovely small box specifically made for a pocket watch. It's in great overall condition all round. The main exterior wood is kingwood inlaid and bounded in different directions to add to the design. It's been brass bounded around the edge to add to the stability. The interior is completely original with inlaid red velvet. The watch tray is spring loaded so when you open the lid the watch tray lifts upwards. It's French made and dates back to the Victorian period, c.1880.
