Burr Walnut Writing Slope C.1870

Description

A lovely conditioned writing slope made from burr walnut. It's been cross banded with a unique design with boxwood. It has an inlaid brass plate in the centre lid. The interior is all completely original with the purple velvet inlay. Comes with fully functioning lock and key. This writing slope dates back to the Victorian period, c.1870.
