Description

A lovely example of a Cigar box. All in immaculate condition through out. Made entirely from rosewood and inlaid with boxwood. The interior is cedar lined which would of helped minimise the smell of cigars when used as a cigar box. It's has a unique self locking device. It locks automatically and to open you move over the entire escutcheon to the right. This box dates back to the Edwardian period, 1910.
