Description

This is a fine example of a Georgian Campaign writing slope. The main exterior wood is Mahogany which has been brass bounded all round to give great strength and stability to the box as it would have been used on travel. On the side are two original brass handles. It has a makers label inside the box. Made by Biggs London. It's a large size box which opens out to reveal the writingslope section which has been inlaid with green baize. Comes with working lock and key.
