Description

An elegant rosewood writing slope, the top inlaid with Ivory, the fall front reveals an original leather writing slope.

The top section opens to reveal a pen tray and lidded compartments and the two original ink bottles, one black the other red.

Measuring

14 x 3 3/4 x 9 3/4 inches

When open the usable writing area is 12 x 14 inches

Condition

Completely original, there is an old spliced repair on the fall near the escutcheon key hole, the key sadly is missing.

The leather is original but worn especially near the centre, I am happy to replace this with a new tooled leather one within the price if you so desired, but I thought I would leave that option to the purchaser
