A beautiful Sheraton Table box. With the iconic large shell inlay which is the main centre piece of the box which is common in this period. Beautiful workmenship through out the box making it a real eye catching piece. The main exterior wood is a dark mahogany wood. On each side of the box are the dropped brass lion handles which are original. The interior has a tray compartment divided into smaller sections handy for storing smaller items. Tray lifts out to provide more storage underneath. Been red lined inside. Comes with fully functioning lock and key and dates back to the Georgian period, c.1790.
