A delightful Jewellery box which is French made. The main exterior wood of the box is Rosewood and it's been bounded in boxwood. It has a inlaid steel handle on the lid. It's in great overall original condition. Integrated in the lid is a small mirror and it's perfect for containing small Jewellery items. Comes with fully functioning lock and key and dates back to the Victorian period, c.1880.
