Single Tea Caddy C.1800

A fine example of a rare 8 sided Tea Caddy. The main exterior wood is Mahogany which has been inlaid and cross banded throughout. Everything is original and is in great overall condition. The interior comprises of a single lid for the storage of tea. A ivory handle on the lid and mother of pearl escutcheon. It's an early piece dating to the Georgian period, c.1800.
