A really beautiful piece of Georgian country furniture making, this little elm box is in stunning untouched condition. The box is very plain but beautifully made with dovetail joints and shaped moulding to the lid. The box has led a charmed life it is so untouched including original hinges and great patina. The timber used is the best quality cuts of elm with lovely figuring. A wonderful piece of Georgian country furniture, C.1800.
