A immaculate Writing Slope made from Figured Walnut. It's been fully brass bounded for great strength and durability as it's may have been used in Military purposes. The box has been dated to exactly April 29th 1883. The interior is all completely original and comes with the inlaid red leather, a glass ink well and two secret draws which can be triggered by one of the wooden divisions. Comes with fully functioning lock and key.
