19th century lovely large solid oak campaign or military type travelling box with original key.

With the original brass fittings to corners, strapwork, recessed side handles, hinges, escutcheon and cartouche, as well as the original lock and key.

This is a large and solidly built box, which is most decorative, and very useful for collectables, papers, or even a family bible.

Size-15.25 inches by 12.5 inches by 6 inches high.

A lovely example, in very good condition.
