George III Mahogany Tea Caddy, Complete Inside.

Description

Good late 18th century George III mahogany and inlaid tea caddy. The box made of "PLUM PUDDING" mahogany and it is banded in rosewood with boxwood and ebony stringing. Original ivory escution and sliver plated top handle.

The outside of the box is perfect and all original with no repairs.

The inside retains all the original fittings, two tea boxes with lift up lids with a very nice heavy cut glass mixing bowl in the middle.

A very nice Georgian example of this type of tea caddy.

SIZE; 12" wide by 6" front to back by 7" high
