Mahogany Tea Caddy

Description

A unique eight sided Tea Caddy. A real early piece dating to the Georgian Period, 1790. It has the typical oval inlay in the top lid. The main exterior wood used is Mahogany which has been inlaid with boxwood and sycamore. The interior has two lids made from satinwood with the original knob handles. Once used for the separation of green and black tea.
