Description

This box would have been made for a Lady. The main wood is Figured walnut was the typical Tunbridge design inlaid through out. The shape is known as the 'envelope top'. The interior comprises of the original velvet in the lid. It has a tray that lifts out to reveal more space underneath. Comes with fully functioning lock and key. Dates back to the Victorian Period, C.1860.
