Stunning quality mid 19th century French ebony, Boulle and brass line inlaid Ladies scent bottle box with makers label for BUHOT of PARIS on the base.

This wonderful quality box is in complete condition, fully fitted inside with all three of the original green cut glass scent bottles.

The box is ebony with gilt bronze or brass feet and top mould. All sides are inlaid with a thin brass line. The front with engraved brass escution plate. The Boulle top is inlaid with brass, mother of pearl and tortoise-shell.

Original lock and key which is working.

Very good condition with no damage or repairs to the box at all. One of the original bottles is chipped at the collar which is unfortunate, most of the bits are actually inside so it could probably be repaired.

SIZE; 5 1/2" long by 3" wide by 4 1/2" high
