George III Mahogany Dome Top Tea Caddy with Canisters

Description

Very nice original condition George III mahogany dome top tea caddy. The caddy veneered in nicely grained mahogany all round with boxwood and ebony chequered line inlay to the top and bottom edges. Very nice original brass handle to the top, ivory oval escution and all the original ogee bracket feet.

The inside has two of the original metal tea canisters although there would have been three originally, the larger central one is no longer present.

The tea caddy has a lovely faded mahogany colour and is free from any damage or restorations.

SIZE; 9 1/2" wide by 5 1/2" front to back by 6" high
