Description

Here we have a stunning Queen Anne bible box or bureau dated 1710. As you can see the colour and patina is stunning. The top and lift up lid have a thumb moulded edge with original hand forged butterfly hinges. The central cartouche has an original carved date and intials MG 1710. The front also has original and wonderful carving in relief. There is a working lock and key to the front. Internally there are three original drawers with later handles. The box has its original baseboards. A stunning period box in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 26 inches wide 18.5 deep and 11 high.
