Walnut Ladies Box

19th century
Description

A large sized Ladies Box made from Figured Walnut and rosewood bound. The walnut gives off a lovely attractive grain. Would of been used for Jewellery etc. Tray lifts out to reveal more storage underneath. The interior is completely original with blue lined velvet inside the lid. Comes with fully functioning lock and key. Dating to the Victorian period.
