Description

A stunning example of a Single George III Tea Caddy. The box is in immaculate condition and the quality of the box is shown in the pictures. The exterior wood is made from Satinwood and is cross banded in Kingwood, with boxwood and sycamore. A real early example dating to around c.1770. Has the star designed in the lid with the original brass handle. The interior comprises of the single lid to hold the Tea. All secured with the original lock and key.

Satinwood, kingwood, boxwood and sycamore.
