Description

A lovely Figured walnut Writing slope. A great swirling effect to the wood which is very eye catching. Completely brass bounded for great strength and durability. Brass inlay on the top with a brass escutcheon. The interior comprises of a green leather slope used for writing and two ink wells with brass tops. The boxes also has two secret draws which can be revealed by pulling up one of the divides. A great quality writing slope dating back to the Victorian period, C.1850.
