Good Fully Fitted Coromandel-wood Sewing Box

Description

A fine quality and original FITTED SEWING BOX in excellent condition.

The box itself is of Coromandel wood, inlaid with mother-of-pearl shield and cartouche to both the top and the front. The lid opens to reveal the fully fitted interior with its full set of eight carved mother-of-pearl cotton reels; matching waxer; two thimbles (one hallmarked silver) and various mother-of-pearl handled tools and implements. The lid features a mirror fronted and velvet lined pouch for patterns etc. 12ins x 9ins (30cms x 23cms)
