A Georgian mahogany candle or cutlery box for hanging on the wall. Lovely flame mahogany front and barber pole decoration to edges, heart shape cut out to backboard. Probably given as a love token or wedding present. It measures approx 51cm in length and 15.5cm at it's widest point, tapering down to just under 9cm at the base, 11cm in depth.
