A charming small Regency rosewood sarcophagus shape tea caddy. The caddy stands on small bun feet with a bone escutcheon and raises to a beaded edge top. The rosewood is of a lovely colour and is beautifully figured. The interior retains the original twin compartments with lids and has the original lining paper. The whole is in excellent untouched condition with a great colour and charming petite size. C.1830.
