Georgian Partridge Wood Tea Caddy. Circa; 1800

Description

Good quality large size Georgian partridge wood veneered tea caddy, the outside being in very good totally original condition. Nice original brass lion paw feet and original lion mask side handles. Original lock and ivory escution. No veneer repairs and no damage to the outside.

Unfortunately the inside is empty. The top section has the original Georgian paper to the inside of the lid. The base could be lined with paper or something similar and could be used just as a very nice storage box.

SIZE; 12 1/2" long by 7" wide by 8" high
