Superb Quality Victorian Figured Walnut Antique Writing Slope

This Superb Quality Victorian Figured Walnut Antique Writing Slope circa, 1870 is beautifully figured with brass corner brackets and shield shaped motif that could be used to personalise this wonderful antique. The interior has the original leather writing insert and removable quill holder. The Walnut has aged to a rich warm shade with a striking grain, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Approximate dimensions are:

Height:11cm / 4.5 inches

Width:30cm / 12 inches

Depth:23cm / 9 inches
