Description

fine quality large mahogany brass bound campaign writing box by mappin bros.

the interior with dark blue tolled leather writing slope and various compartments, pen rests etc including mechanisms to operate release of section to reveal three 'secret' drawers and a 'secret' storage compartment.

brass cartouche to the top and campaign style brass carrying handles to the sides.

some marks etc commensurate with age and use but overall this substantial writing box is in good condition and is a high quality piece.
