Fine Early 19th Cent Carved Dutch Snuff Box

Description

Fine early 19th century carved walnut Dutch snuff box in the form of a shoe or clog. The hinged lid is hinged with a wooden hinge which is clever in itself. This is a very good example, great shape, colour and patination.

The whole piece is beautifully decorated with brass pins which form an intricate design.

There is a small chip to the rear otherwise very good.

SIZE; 3" long by 1" wide
