Japanese Bronze Mixed Metal Samurai Box Signed

Description

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this circular Japanese bronze lidded box inlaid and onlaid in various alloys and mixed metals , the lid depicts two Samurai wrestling with each other, one having dropped a flaming torch , the box is signed to the underside in two areas ,ideal as a container as intended or just for decorative purposes.

The condition is very good throughout with expected age wear mainly to the underside and interior.

Diameter 5" 13 cm

Height 2.25" 6 cm
