The antique workbox has an unusual upholstered shaped base and a pull out side drawer with needle and wool compartments. The workbox stands on a moulded pedestal with acanthus leaf carved corbels and has a quadriform base with small castors. The antique workbox is a rich warm medium rosewood colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
