A delightful, small mother of pearl trinket box. The box is veneered in thick pieces of mother of pearl, applied in a geometric design. The lid opens with a little mother of pearl push button and the interior is then veneered again in mother of pearl. There is a lovely contrast between the exterior which has a warm glow and the bright sharp interior. The whole is in perfect condition and untouched. C.1890.
