A Top Quality Victorian Fitted Games Box

Description

A superb quality mid-Victorian coromandel wood fitted CARD & GAMES BOX with its original contents in excellent condition.

The beautifully figured brass-edged top, inlaid with gilt crest, opens to reveal the satinwood lined interior. This contains four packs of original "Bezique" playing cards, together with rules and two pairs of gilt-tooled scorecards, for Bezique and Whist.

To the centre is the original satinwood cribbage board, with set of four ivory pegs contained in the compartment below.
