Antique English Walnut & Glass Jewellery Box C.1890

Description

A wonderful late Victorian Jewelry box dating to the late Victorian era. Made from Walnut with it's wonderful Cognac colour, the top and front are inset with original bevelled glass panels.

The box opens and the the front folds down to reveal the two drawers underneath with their original lining, the right-hand drawer fitted to accommodate rings up either side.

The top section has been professionally re-fitted and relined in a similar green colour, beautifully executed and ready for use.

The box comes complete with a working lock and key. 9 1/2" x 7 3/4" x 7 1/4" tall.
