Description

Quality Victorian Oak Antique Stationery Box

Dating from around 1890 in the Victorian period this antique oak stationery box is a quality find. It has a sloping front along with key and working lock and original brass key escutcheon. The interior is divided into several compartments with interesting carved separators. The oak is of a golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Approx. dimensions are:

Height: 24cm / 9½"

Width: 30cm / 12"

Depth: 18cm / 7"
