English Lady's Coromandel Jewellery Cabinet

Description

An unusual and excellent quality mid-19th century Coromandel-wood LADY'S FITTED JEWELLERY CABINET.

Veneered throughout in finest quality well-figured coromandel wood, this rare cabinet features two panelled doors, which open to reveal a bank of SEVEN small drawers. Each of these drawers is lined in original dark green velvet, whilst the top drawer is fitted for numerous rings.

It is fully locking with ivory escutcheons and working key, and it is supported on solid bun feet. Dimensions: 14.5ins high; 13ins (at widest point) and 8.5ins deep. (36.8 x 33 x 21.5cms)
