Sheraton Period Hexagonal Tea Caddy

Description

A good quality early 19th century Sheraton period HEXAGONAL TEA CADDY in good original condition.

Both the lid and the front are inlaid with oval marquetry panels of conch shells, and edges of of boxwood, whilst the lid retains its original brass "bow" handle. Inside there is an inner lid, and much of the original lead lining is intact. Good colour.675
