The antique oak writing slope is such a fabulous colour, in solid oak throughout and complete with the original 'Butterfly' shaped iron hinges and locking plate.
When made in England around 1700. in the Queen Anne period, this antique desk would have been used to work/write upon and to store writing equipment, inside is a pen tray and three small pigeon holes for storage.
In very good, strong, sturdy and original condition, now in Miles Griffiths antiques showrooms in Clitheroe, Lancashire.
