This splendid ANTIQUE LACQUERED JAPANESQUE CHOCOLATE BOX dates from around 1900.

It bears the original paper label of CHOCOLAT MASSON PARIS to the base.

The FAN-SHAPED BOX has four drawers which swivel open and would have contained the most glorious chocolates when originally purchased.

It could be refilled and given as a very special present. Alternatively, it could be used as a JEWELLERY BOX.

Dimensions:

Height: 8.25 inches (21 cm)

Width: 8.5 inches (21.5 cm)

The condition is good.
