Description

Here we have a wonderful 19th century continental ladies casket or box. Fabulous shape, veneered in mullberry and satinwood with boxwood and ebony line inlay and steel studded decoration.

Original brass feet, solid satinwood mouldings. An incredible one piece mother-of-pearl handle to the top shaped like a man and woman holding hands.

Condition is excellent and it is all original, all the studding is in tact. Original lock and key. Original lining inside is a little tatty.

SIZE; 11" long by 8 1/2" wide by 8" high
