Super Quality Gilded Ormolu Glove Box

Description

We are delighted to offer for sale this splendid Victorian glove box complete with its ivory glove stretcher and two pairs of soft kid leather ladies gloves ,this super casket is further enhanced with top quality gilt mounts set with cabachon cut semi precious stones or agates , the box bears the retailers stamp of Martins of Cheltenham and is lined in purple velvet .

The condition is lovely with only minor gilt wear from cleaning and a small rip on the glove stretchers holder , the inside smells slightly musty from years in storage and would benefit from a light clean , a super piece of Victorian oppulence !!
