Victorian Brass Bound Mahogany Writing Slope

Description

A large Victorian mahogany brass bound writing slope with a secret drawer beneath , this as you can see is a larger than normal mahogany writing slope with the benefit of lovely shaped brass bindings and corners protecting the most gorgeous flame mahogany timbers , the box has the benefit of a secret end drawer with sunken military style handle which can only be opened by lifting the brass pin inside , of course to do this you need to first unlock the box , and yes we do have the key in perfect working order , the interior is lined with possibly its original purple lining and is complete with its pen tray and one ink bottle , the interior is well used but complete , the exterior as you can see is simply stunning with a few old useage marks beneath the polish which only enhance its great looks .
