fine quality coromandel wood sewing / jewellery box with mother of pearl cartouche engraved with e. clayton 1861 and mother of pearl escutcheon, the blue / green silk covered interior, beautifully decorative with silver embroidery and mother of pearl bead patterns, the lift out tray fitted with lidded compartments reveals storage well below, fall front stationery compartment to lid.
