Description

A delightful English Regency box, a delightful shape standing of four gilded Lion's paw feet.

The box is veneered in exquisite tight-burled Amboyna, the most expensive timber in the world, and a very pleasing deep toffee colour, trimmed with Ebony stringing. The lid is delightfully mounted with fine gilded pierced or reticulated mounts.

The interior is fully fitted with cut glass and silverplated vanity jars, perfume bottles (including their original glass stoppers) and a large box, all without damage, bar some tiny insignificant rough spots on the interior rim of the rectangular box.

Excellent condition, measuring 8 3/4" wide x 5 3/4" x 3 3/4" tall.
