Description

A very high quality Victorian writing slope, also often referred to as a Lapdesk.

The slope is in excellent condition throughout and in totally original condition.

Constructed of finest quality rosewood and generously adorned with nacre (mother of pearl) inlay.

The interior retains it's original velvet writing surface and it is complete with it's original working lock and key.

It is also fitted with brass (campaign style) carrying handles to the sides.

Dimensions: 14" X 10" X 5"
