Fine 19th Century Walnut & Inlaid Money Box

Description

VERY FINE early 19th century walnut and inlaid money box. Possibly Dutch. Beautifully inlaid with various woods including boxwood, ebony and rosewood. Also with inlaid ivory and brass studded clog in the back. Original brass catch for the base.

The whole piece in totally original and un-touched condition. Retains a lovely colour and patination from years of waxing.

One of the nicest wooden money boxes I have seen for quite some time.

SIZES; 6" by 3 3/4" by 7" high
